FARGO, N.D. - Indigo Signworks has announced the acquisition of Cook Sign Company from Knight LLC. the parent company of 120 year old Knight Printing Inc. Indigo is a leading full-service sign production company in the area, with locations in Fargo, Bismarck, Grand Forks and Alexandria, Minnesota.
Indigo Signworks CEO Bernie Dardis said, “We look forward to the opportunity of working with all the great customers of Cook Sign Company throughout the region. Cook Sign has a very proud tradition of providing quality sign production for over 100 years.”
Knight LLC. Representative Mike Marcil said “Prior to our recent acquisition of Cook Sign, Knight had a longstanding positive relationship with Indigo. After the acquisition we determined a business combination of these two great companies would be in the best interest of both our organizations. This sale will allow Knight to focus on our core printing business and the pending Richtman’s Printing acquisition.
Indigo Vice President and Sales Manager Tom Nelson said “this acquisition represents a significant expansion of our business and the territory we will be serving. The scale and stability of a combined Indigo and Cook entity makes for an even stronger company,” he said.
Dardis added “this will be a relatively seamless transition as our two companies unite. We are looking forward to having many of the talented professionals from Cook join our staff,” he said.
